AUTO BODY

half-day / 2 years / 3 elective credits per year / science credit upon completion / college credits available

Learn all the tools and techniques to rebuild and restore cars! We use an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) curriculum and certified course material which is a symbol and standard of quality in the industry. Combine coursework and hands-on experience in the shop and build the skills and knowledge needed to grow with latest technological changes in the auto body field.

In the second year we continue your skills and learn what it takes to be a leader in the shop. Grow your job entry skills with auto body repair equipment, body repair and alignment, refinishing, more welding techniques, frame and chassis repair and estimating jobs. We seek to build your technical skill and craft. Qualified students continue their educations at 2 or 4 year postsecondary institutions.

PATCHING & REPAIR

Learn the skills to repair dents and torn metal.

PART REPLACEMENT

We work on actual wrecks and learn how cars and trucks of all kinds are really put together. We show you the research skills

to grab specs on any vehicle and fix it.

PAINT FINISHING

Learn to  prep for priming, apply primer, paint in different finishes on through higher end custom work.

GLASS REPLACEMENT

Windows, mirrors, and windshields learn what it takes to

FIBERGLASS REPAIR

Repair existing shapes or build new ones. We’ll teach you all you need to know about working with fiberglass.
