BTC Health Sciences Academy presents a donation to the Vermont Children’s Hospital

This past fall, the Health Occupations Student Association (HOSA) held a membership drive, and any chapter with one hundred percent membership participation was eligible for a donation to the charity of their choice. Our Health Sciences Academy (HSA) was able to achieve this goal, and our students chose to donate to the Vermont Children’s Hospital this year. This week, students from HSA visited the hospital and presented a check to the Vermont Children’s Hospital fundraising team. Students learned about the impacts of philanthropic giving, and how their donation will support programming and care for the hospital’s young patients.
