The BTC Counseling Coordinator provides all students with counseling that facilitates academic, career and social/emotional development, helping all students develop plans for choosing a career. The counseling coordinator creates awareness of career & technical education programming options for students and their families and helps them understand all of the options that lead to the world of work. They use organized and structured appraisal and advising to facilitate students’ acquisition of the attitudes, knowledge and skills needed to achieve positive postsecondary and career outcomes. Finally, the school counseling coordinator is the main point of contact for the application process, NTHS, and transportation.
