In case you missed it, BTC has all new videos, thanks to the incredible work by Media Factory! Throughout 2024, BTC and Media Factory collaborated to recreate all of our program videos and our “About Our School” video. A big thank you to all of the BTC students, faculty and staff who helped in this process, and we are so grateful to the Media Factory team for this amazing new lens into the deep learning that happens here at BTC.

Info Sessions Starting Next Week!

Our Informational Session series kicks off this February with sessions on Tuesday, February 4th, Wednesday, February 5th and Saturday, February 15th. Prospective students, family and friends are all invited. If you are interested in learning about one or more of our ten Career & College- Bound Programs, we strongly encourage you to attend one of these upcoming Info Sessions.

On Tuesday, February 4th, our Downtown & Edmunds BTC locations will be hosting Info Sessionsfrom 5- 6 p.m. and/or 6-7 p.m. Find us at 110 Cherry Street via the double doors under a maroon awning. The programs at this location are listed below; for more information about each program, simply click on the program name to visit their program page:

On Wednesday, February 5th, our East BTC locations will host Info Sessions from 5-6 p.m. and/or6-7 p.m. These programs are as follows; click on the program name for more information.

Finally, ALL program locations are hosting Info Sessions on Saturday, February 15th from 10 – 11 a.m. and/or 11 a.m. – noon at their respective locations, as listed above.

Don’t Miss It: Prospective Student Visit Day 2025!

It’s the start of a new year, and we hope you will join us to explore the opportunities here at BTC. Come explore on Prospective Student Visit Day on January 23rd, 2025 (snow date: January 30th). Interested sophomore and junior students will have the chance to visit two programs of their choice, spending approx. one hour in each program space. 

You’ll tour the classroom and lab spaces, and discuss the program outcomes, classroom culture, high school and college credits, industry credentials, work-based learning opportunities, and more. It’s a great opportunity to get a sense of the day-to-day life in the program, connect with the program instructor, and meet other interested students. 

At our Downtown locations, you can choose two of the following programs:

  • Intro to Healthcare
  • Health Sciences Academy
  • Criminal Justice
  • Digital Media Lab
  • Design & Illustration
  • Education Training & Leadership

In our East Campus location, you can choose two of the following programs:

  • Aviation & Aerospace Technology
  • Design, Engineering & Fabrication
  • Automotive Science & Technology

Sign up through our online portal, linked here, no later than January 10th. Field trip forms must be completed through your sending school; transportation is provided.

Announcing BTC’s Prospective Student Visit Day!

This year, BTC is excited to debut our Prospective Student Visit Day on Thursday, January 25th, 2024. This visit is for ALL interested students from any of our sending schools! Students will come to either our Downtown or our East BTC location for just over two hours on the regularly scheduled school transportation, and will tour two programs* while here. There will be no regularly scheduled BTC programming on this day.

* 9th grade students will visit Pre-Tech for the entirety of their visit.

2023 Career Challenge Day @ BTC

We are excited to once again partner with Vermont Works for Women and host the 2023 Career Challenge Day. This event will take place on May 2nd, and is an excellent opportunity for students in grades 6-8 in our sending school region to visit BTC; students will participate in a variety of educational, hands-on activities and see if career and technical education would work for them.
